About Film:
Bheema (Tamil: பீமா) is a Tamil film directed by N. Linguswamy. It stars Vikram, Trisha Krishnan and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. The film's score and soundtrack was composed by Harris Jayaraj with lyrics written by the contemporary Tamil poets Na. Muthukumar, Pa. Vijay and Vairamuthu. R.D. Rajasekhar was the cinematographer for the movie and the editing was done by Anthony. Shooting for the film began on the 24th of April, 2006 at various locations in India. The film was slated for a Pongal/Sankranthi 2007 release, but it was pushed back to May 11, 2007 due to technical difficulties. Then it was postponed further due to the nearing release of Sivaji: The Boss. The film's soundtrack was released on July 10, 2007 and the film itself was released on 15 January 2008, to coincide with Pongal, with 300 prints. The movie had earlier been postponed to "Summer 2007",even though the film was previously said to have been completed.

Story:
The story pivots on a tug of war between two underworld gangs trying to outsmart each other. Periyavar’s (Raghuvaran) group is bigger and more powerful, while Chinna’s (Prakash Raj) group is struggling to gain strength.

Enter Shekar (Vikram). This powerful man adds new life to Chinna’s gang. He challenges Periyavar’s group and puts Chinna on top. Shekar has grown up idolising Chinna and he is a man of steel, physically and mentally, according to the movie. As Chinna says, he bears everyone on his powerful shoulders like the character Bheema from the Mahabharata.

The gangs are targeted by the new police commissioner (Ashish Vidyarthi) and a three-pronged hunt begins. Later on Sekar leaves to settle with his girlfriend(Trisha), however Chinna's gang members want him back, even though Chinna wants Sekar to lead his own life. The unexpected bold climax shows the misunderstanding between Sekar and Chinna and in that process Chinna's gang kill Trisha, Sekar kills Chinna and the police kill Sekar.

About Film:
Arinthum Ariyamalum is a 2005 Indian Tamil film written and directed by Vishnuvardhan that stars Prakash Raj along with newcomers Navdeep, Arya and Samiksha in lead and Adithya and Krishna in supporting roles. The film's music is composed by top director, Yuvan Shankar Raja. 'Punnagai Poo' Gheeta, a popular DJ at the Malaysian radio station THR.fm Raaga, produced the film, becoming the first female Tamil film producer and first person outside of India to produce an Indian film.[1] The film released on May 20, 2005 and became a surprise hit at the box office, running successfully for 175 days in theatres in Tamil Nadu.[2][3] Upon release, the film was dubbed into Telugu and released as Kalisunte.

There is the innocent Satya (Navdeep) who comes from Nagercoil to Chennai to join an engineering college. And then his problems begin one by one when he encounters the dreaded don Adhi Narayanan (Prakashraj), who is actually Satya's father and his hot-blooded son Kutty (Arya). Satya's girlfriend (Samiksha) is accidentally wounded in a shootout between Adhi's gang and his rivals. Satya, on the prodding of ACP Thiagarajan (Adithya) is all set to identify Kutty as the culprit.

Intimidated and threatened by the gang, and in a state of confusion, Satya is shocked when Adhi suddenly changes track, makes friendly overtures to Satya, claiming kinship with him. With Kutty too going overboard with his brotherly overprotective attitude, Satya's life takes a comical and a drastic turn.

ABOUT FILM:

Abhiyum Naanum (English: Abhi and Me) is a 2008 Tamil feature film produced by Prakash Raj and directed by Radha Mohan. The movie, which has a critically acclaimed storyline, stars Trisha Krishnan in the prime role with Prakash Raj playing a pivotal role as her father while Prithviraj Sukumaran makes a special appearance. Vidyasagar scored the music for the film whilst M. Kasivishwanathan is handling the editing. The film was launched in October 2007 and released on December 19, 2008.[1] The film was released as Akasamantha in Telugu in March 2009, with Jagapathi Babu taking over from Prithviraj, being the only change.

During a walk to the park Raghuraman (Prakash Raj) meets Sudhakar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) and tells him about his many experiences with his daughter Abhi (Trisha Krishnan). Raghuram is the loving husband of Anu (Aishwarya) and the worrisome as well as caring father of his only daughter Abhi. Together they all live a calm and content life in Ooty/Munnar. Raghuram and Abhi become best friends. Over the years as Abhi grows up, Raghuraman has the joy of being a part of her everyday life. When Abhi gets accepted in a prestigious college in New Delhi, Raghuram is shocked. Although the thought of being separated from his daughter for two whole years is heartbreaking to him, Raghuram wearily accepts. As soon as Abhi returns from college, she tells her parents that she has fallen in love with a young man in Delhi. Her mother Anu is perfectly alright with the idea, but Raghuram is angry and scared. Anu later informs Raghuram that their future son-in-law will be arriving by plane and staying with them for a while. As soon as Raghuraman meets his future son-in-law, Joginder Singh (Ganesh Venkatraman) he is taken aback, because Joginder is a Sardarji! After many conflicts with Abhi and Anu, Raghuram finally realizes that Joginder is quite talented and self-sacrificing, more so when on one occasion the Prime Minister calls him for advice. Abhi and Joginder get married and leave for Delhi. Anu and Abhi get teary-eyed, but Raghuram stays calm. This is very surprising, because he was the man that had once cried on his daughter's first day to school. Raghuram tells Sudhakar that he still stays in touch with his daughter and often gets to see her. Sudhakar understands how Raghuram feels, because he has a baby daughter himself. The movie ends with a phone call from Abhi.

Prakash Raj portrays the life journey of a father very effectively.
