About Film:
A Aa E Ee is a 2009 Indian Tamil film that stars Navdeep and Monica in the lead roles, whilst, supporting actors Aravind Akash, Prabhu Ganesan and Saranya Mohan play other prominent roles. Directed by Sabapathy, and produced by the oldest Tamil film production company, AVM Productions, the film released on 9th January 2009 The movie is a remake of Telugu hit Chandamama (film) with Navdeep enacting the same role.

Subramaniam, (Prabhu) an Ayurvedic physician is a much respected man in his village. His only daughter Anita (Monica) returns home from Chennai after completing a course in fashion designing. Having lost her mother at a very young age, Anita is close to her father and they share a special bond. Soon Anita’s marriage is fixed with Ilango (Arvind), son of Vedachalam, (Haneefa).

While Vedachalam is a good for nothing, his son is a perfect match. Illango falls in love with Anita. But Anita tells him of her past, about her lover Akash, (Navdeep) who had jilted her after a one night stand. Illango, though shattered meets Akash and tries to unite him with Anita.

And in this attempt, he finds himself falling in love with Anita’s cousin, Eshwari (Saranya Mohan). Now the story is about uniting the two pairs of lovers. And Anita does not want to hurt her father with the knowledge of her past.

Set in a rustic background, the film entertains with its moments of comedy, slapstick albeit. And it talks about a young daughter who is willing to sacrifice her love so that her father is not disappointed, a trait not that often seen in today’s films.

Prabhu as the father is good. Manorama as Illango’s grandmother is at her usual best. Haneefa in his colourful outfits keeps the audience chuckling with his dialogues. While Arvind and Monica are adequate, it is Saranya Mohan who impresses with her acting. Navdeep makes a mark too.

The songs are good. Good camera work with stunning visuals showing nature at her best.

There are moments when the film sags, but if you have a penchant for clean family drama, this one could be straight up your alley.

Azhagiya Tamil Magan (Tamil: அழகிய தமிழ் மகன், English: Handsome Tamil Son) (2007) is a Tamil film directed by Bharathan and produced by Appachan. Joseph Vijay and Shriya Saran star in lead roles. Namitha, Santhanam and Sriman also star in supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack is composed by A. R. Rahman. The film was released on November 8, 2007.
Guru Moorthy ( Joseph Vijay) is an athlete and business management student. Abhinaya (Shriya) is the daughter of a business baron (Ashish Vidyarthi). They meet and fall in love.

The movie goes on to show how the lovers manage to get the permission of their parents. In the meantime, a different dimension in the tale is revealed while the romantic drama is unfolding. Vijay visualizes some bizarre scenes inside his mind. The scenes are disturbing; and worse, they become true in real life.

A psychiatrist (Dr. Rudran) confirms that it is Extra Sensory Perception power and says that the imageries visualized by Guru would actually happen sooner or later. Unfortunately Guru visualizes another scene where he stabs Abi in the stomach. Sensing that he poses a danger to his sweetheart, he runs away from her to Mumbai.

In Mumbai he stumbles upon a person who looks like himself. This gives him a different meaning of the horrible incident visualized by him. Before catching the man,Prasad (Joseph Vijay), Guru gets himself into an accident. In the meantime, the new man moves to Chennai.

Stylish and carefree Prasad, the Guru look-alike, is a greedy person who does anything for money. He is a womaniser and enjoys life. He meets Dhanalakshmi (Namitha) during his travel to Chennai and has sex with her and escapes from her. Abinaya mistakes him for Guru and brings him to her house. Sensing his opportunity, Prasad decides toact as Guru and intends to marry the rich Abhi.

The real Guru comes back and tells everyone the truth. But no one is ready to believe him, as he is outplayed by the wicked Prasad at each and every move. Finally the truth prevails, but not before a tense battle between the two. During the battle, when Guru tries to kill Prasad, he accidentally stabs Abhi. Guru tries to take Abhi to the hospital but Prasad knocks him out and changes into Guru's clothes so he will look like Guru in front of Abhi. Abhi recovers at the hospital and thinks Prasad is Guru again. At the hospital she tells him how much she hates Prasad and how much she loves Guru. When Prasad hears this he feels guilty for what he did and tells her he is not Guru. Guru suddenly comes into the room, and Prasad leaves as a reformed man.

As Prasad walks away from the hospital, Dhanalakshmi appears saying she is pregnant and its twins. Prasad and Dhanalakshmi join together.

The film's music is composed by top director, Yuvan Shankar Raja. There is the innocent Satya (Navdeep) who comes from Nagercoil to Chennai to join an engineering college. And then his problems begin one by one when he encounters the dreaded don Adhi Narayanan (Prakashraj), who is actually Satya's father and his hot-blooded son Kutty (Arya). Satya's girlfriend (Samiksha) is accidentally wounded in a shootout between Adhi's gang and his rivals. Satya, on the prodding of ACP Thiagarajan (Adithya) is all set to identify Kutty as the culprit.

Intimidated and threatened by the gang, and in a state of confusion, Satya is shocked when Adhi suddenly changes track, makes friendly overtures to Satya, claiming kinship with him. With Kutty too going overboard with his brotherly overprotective attitude, Satya's life takes a comical and a drastic turn.

About Film:
Anniyan is a Tamil psychological thriller directed by S. Shankar. Dubbed into Hindi as Aparichit, Telugu as Aparichithudu and French, it was a super hit film in Tamil Nadu and a blockbuster in Andhra Pradesh. The film was produced by Oscar V. Ravichandran and distributed in India by Aascar Films. It was released in France by Columbia TriStar Pictures.

The movie stars the actors Vikram, Prakash Raj, Sadha, and Vivek. The score and soundtrack, composed by Harris Jayaraj, was released on 27 April, 2005. The motion picture took over two years to complete, from 2003 to 2005. The film was the most expensive Tamil feature film made of the year costing nearly $6 million. Such a huge outlay reduced its status from blockbuster to superhit in the trade ledgers.

Anniyan is the story of "Rules" Ramanujam Iyengar, known as "Ambi" (Vikram), a lawyer who suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder. Ambi is an innocent and honest lawyer. If he comes across anyone not obeying the rules he files cases against them but all his efforts go in vain.

His constant habit to be perfect in rules and honesty leads him to develop a Multiple Personality Disorder in which a new character in him grows as Anniyan, a grim reaper, (Vikram) and starts a website called www.anniyan.com to hear people's complaints. The new character, Anniyan, is a violent man. When he is Ambi and comes across a person who does not obey rules he makes complaints in his website. When he is Anniyan, he goes and kills them by methods used for torturing people in hell. He apparently takes the definition of these methods from the Garuda Puranam.

During the first half, Anniyan kills 3 different people due to their actions:

* A man who did not stop to save a person in critical condition. Anniyan forces a herd of buffaloes to stampede him to death. He calls this murder "Anthakoopam", a Sanskrit word and one of the punishments in the Garuda Puranam.
* A chef who fails to provide decent food for railway passengers. Anniyan tosses him into a pot and fries him to death. This punishment is called "Kumbhipakam". The chef was the brother of DGP Prabhakar (Prakash Raj) and the death caused Prabhakar to rise with anger, promising to kill his brother's murderer when he is found.
* A factory owner who makes faulty motor parts. He sends a group of thugs to kill Ambi, but this triggers Anniyan, who knocks out all the men. Later, Anniyan ties the owner to a tree and dumps leeches onto his body. This punishment is called "Krimiibhojanam"

Meanwhile, DGP Prabhakar and Chari (Vivek), a friend of Ambi, are after this mystery murderer.

Ambi is in love with his neighbour Nandhini (Sadha), a music teacher. After she rejects him, Ambi develops another personality, a ramp walk model named Remo. Nandhini instantly falls for Remo and his tricks.

Later, Nandhini acquires land, but tries to cheat the government out of taxes. Ambi chooses not to help her, but when Nandhini tells Remo, Anniyan takes over and goes after her. Just as Anniyan is about to toss her into a pit of fire, Anniyan reverts back to Ambi. He is admitted to a hospital where he is diagnosed with a multiple personality disorder. It is at this hospital that Ambi reveals a dark secret from his past when he is hypnotized. When he was a young boy, there was a lot of corruption and incompetence in the police force and elsewhere. There was a loose electric wire which fell into a rather deep puddle. Ambi's sister Vidya slipped out of a rick shaw and fell into that puddle with the unattended wire, in which she was electrocuted, and died. After listening to this story, the doctor (Nassar) concludes that the death of Ambi's sister resulted in the development of the psychological disorder. According to the doctor, Remo will cease to exist only if Nandhini accepts Ambi's love. However, Anniyan will cease to exist only when the country is reformed. Nandhini eventually accepts Ambi's love and Remo disappears.

As for Anniyan, the police catches him after an investigation. During an interrogation, DGP Prabhakar engages in a fight with Ambi/Anniyan, who constantly changes personalities between Ambi and Anniyan to the DGP's confusion. The fight is captured on the security camera and is used as evidence for Ambi's sentence. He is sentenced to two years of psychological treatment at which time if he is cured, he will be released. When he is released, he relapses when traveling in a train, after a man refuses to stop drinking in the presence of ladies. Apparently, the man is the same person who indirectly, became a cause for Ambi's sister's death due to his negligence of duty. He kills the man, hiding the crime from Nandhini as the credits start rolling, proving that instead of eradicating Anniyan from his brain, he has been able to successfully blend the personalities of Remo, Ambi, and Anniyan as one.

The film has comedies by Vivek regarding the anagrams of the Sanskrit words that denote the punishments. Even the titles shown in the beginning of the film slide with quicker animation of their anagrams. Another example is, during the intermission of the film, the word "TENSIONRISM" morphs into the word "INTERMISSION", which is its anagram.

This film, can be closely related to Shankar's previous feature, Indian. Both movies have similar names in pronunciation, and both movies involve the main character rooting out the corrupt elements of India, due to corruption causing the death of the main character's close family member. The main character also gains popularity amongst the public, and shows one of his murders on live TV.

About Film:
Anjali (Tamil: அஞ்சலி) is a 1990 Tamil-language Indian feature film directed by Mani Ratnam, starring Raghuvaran, Revathi, Tarun, Shruthi and Shamili. The film's score and soundtrack is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, being his 500th movie. Anjali is about a dying autistic child, and the emotional trauma experienced by her family. The film was dubbed into Telugu and released with the same name
The movie revolves around a family of four. The family consists of an young civil engineer father Shekar (Raghuvaran), the stay-at-home mother Chitra (Revathi) and two siblings, the elder brother Tarun (Tarun) and younger sister Shruti (Shruti) both around 11 years of age.

The movie opens with Chitra giving birth to her third child but unfortunately the girl is still-born. A few years later, Shekar and his family move to a new apartment complex filled with a lot of kids. The family seems to have moved on from the still-born child and live happily. After a few altercations with the kids in the colony, Tarun and Shruti are accepted by all the kids as their own. The parents too are accepted by the colony adults as respectable and everybody gets along well. The kids are for pulling pranks and generally causing a clamor around the apartment colony. One such constant joke they play on a mentally retarded ex-watchman (Janakaraj) of the colony, much to the chagrin of his wife. Tarun and Shruti join in too. The only tenant they are afraid of is an ex-convict (Prabhu) who lives alone in one of the apartments.

On new year’s eve, Tarun slips out late at night with the older children to celebrate the new year when Sekhar was out of town on a business trip. But he see’s Shekar with another women before he and the other children are hauled by the police back to their homes. Chitra is furious and when Shekar comes back, asks him to punish Tarun. Tarun, still angry thinking that his father is having an affair, blurts out that he saw Shekar on New Year’s Eve. But Shekar denies that he was in town and admonishes Tarun for lying. Shekar later makes up with Tarun and all go back to normal once again.

A few days later, Chitra to Surprise Shekar, goes to meet him in his construction site but Shekar is not there as he had to leave due to some emergency at home. But as Shekar has said that he was at work to Chitra, she grows suspicious. One day, while on the bus, she spots him talking with a woman. She gets out of the bus and confronts Shekar. But she is not satisfied with his reply that they are just friends talking. She comes home, packs her bags and threatens to walk out of the house. He pleads her to stay but she doesn’t stop. Finally, Shekar comes clean.

Their third child,Anjali (Sharmili), was born mentally ill and with a terminal illness a few years back. The doctors did not give the child more than a couple of months to live. To avoid the sadness for couple of months from an already physically exhausted Chitra and to protect his children from the trauma, he colludes with the doctors to lie to his family that the child was stillborn. But much to the surprise of everyone, the child has made it past thro’ her second birthday and is seemingly physically healthy. The woman Shekar was talking to is Anjali’s doctor. Although Chitra is saddened by this betrayal, she decides to bring Anjali back home.

Anjali is not like a normal child and requires constant attention from both the parents. This causes the other two siblings to dislike Anjali. Moreover, the other kids in the colony and school tease them by making fun of Anjali’s condition. One day, the other kids in the colony, make fun of Anjali by tying a string of cans behind her. This causes Tarun to fight with the other kids. He gets bruised which saddens Anjali but a special bond is born between the siblings. Tarun becomes protective of her and challenges the other kids in the colony to a fight if they can’t accept her. The kids accept anjali and all the kids come to love her.

This causes the parents of the kids to worry as they don’t want their kids to be close with a mentally retarded kid. During an apartment association meeting, the parents of the kids demand that Shekar and Chitra either leave the apartment or institutionalize Anjali. The only person to argue for Anjali’s presence is the ex-convict. The parents are afraid of him and let it go. But soon, Anjali wins over everyone in the apartment complex and everyone likes her.

Meanwhile Shekar has some problem with the quality of cement sold to him and much to the chagrin of the seller, reports him to police. The police finds that the seller adds water to the cement and arrests him. The seller becomes enraged and visits Shekar’s house after getting out on bail. He physically assaults and plans on killing Shekar. But the ex-convict comes to the rescue and kills the seller in the altercation when he threatens Shekar’s family and is arrested. The ex-convict thanks Shekar before leaving as Anjali was the only person to show compassion to him.

The next morning, Shruti wakes up and goes to wake up Anjali, but she doesn’t wake up. Anjali had died in her sleep. As more and more people come after hearing Shruti’s screams, they all are saddened by the demise of the girl who taught them to accept and forgive.

About Film:
Anbe Sivam (Love is God) is a 2003 Kollywood Tamil drama film directed by Sundar C. and stars Kamal Haasan and R. Madhavan with music composed by Vidyasagar. The picture tells the story of a series of comic clashes between Nalla Sivam (Kamal Haasan), a wise-cracking, handicapped communist and Anbarasu (R. Madhavan), an arrogant young advertisement filmmaker (capitalist), that occur when both happen to get stuck with each other on their problem-filled trip home to Chennai from Bhubaneshwar. Themes such as globalization, financial disparity and compassion in present day India are explored around the two protagonists. The film is also shown to be based on Kamal Haasan's views on theism.

The movie is said to be loosely based on John Hughes's 1987 American film Planes, Trains and Automobiles. However, only the theme of an 'odd couple' travelling together from city A to city B is adapted and both the film's dialogue and characterisations are entirely different. The picture met with critical acclaim upon release, but proved to be only an average grosser at India's movie box office. It was also screened at the 2003 International Film Festival of India.
The film begins with ad film-maker Anbarasu (R. Madhavan)- who prefers that his name is mentioned in the abbreviation of A. Aras rather than his full name, arriving at the Bhubaneswar airport in Orissa, India. He is about to board a flight back to Chennai for his own wedding. However, he learns at the airport that his flight is cancelled due to the bad weather in the state where heavy floods and torrential rain due to the wet season have affected air traffic. While waiting for further announcements, Aras watches a television news of a terrorist threat at an airport in Mumbai, making him suspicious when he sees a limping man carrying an old sack on his hands. He informs the authorities, who find out that the man only has a cucumber in that bag and nothing else.

The man, a physically disabled man named Nallasivam a.k. Nalla (Kamal Hassan) introduces himself to Aras and both of them get to know each other. However, Aras underestimates Nallasivam, ignoring his advice and friendly acquaintance, resulting in some comical events in the airport itself. Announcements are finally made that the flights would not board on that day and Aras will have to reserve place in nearby hotels to put up the night. Aras realizes that the five star hotel that he was staying in before is now fully booked, leaving him optionless. Nallasivam however helps him find a place in a two star hotel nearby, in which both Nalla and Aras have to share the same room. Aras' resentment of Nalla makes him act selfishly in trying to get rid of Nalla but at every juncture, Nalla does him a favor which leaves Aras with a heavy heart. The next morning, Aras takes a taxi without waking Nalla in order to find his own way to Chennai. However, Aras realizes that the floods have blocked most of the roads and even the train station is covered by high levels of water. He gets mugged by a thief in the station who offers to help Ars with his luggages, and loses all his money. Nalla however comes to the station and helps Aras retain the wallet, sans the money. It is then revealed that Nalla is a trade unionist and is travelling with a cheque worth Rs. 30 lakh to be delivered to some people after fighting a court cases for some union workers. The comical and misunderstanding events continue as the pair make it to a different train station. There, Nalla decides to tell the story of his own past, but a tired Aras falls asleep and walks away as he is about to begin.

The film then flashes to few years back when a perfectly good looking Nalla performs in street theatres protesting against the industrialisation process which is marginalizing labor force. He often gets into trouble due to this. Nalla is also a painter, and a very talented one at that. He is fighting mainly against the town's biggest business tycoon, the manipulative Kandasamy Padayachi (Nassar), whom he satirically imitates during many of his shows. However, an interesting turn of events sees Nalla and Kandasamy's own daughter Bala (Kiran Rathod) fall in love with each other. Realizing Kandasamy's power would be too much to bear if they want to get together, Nalla and Bala decide to elope, but while Nalla is on a bus on his way to meet Bala, the bus meets with a horrible accident at a hillside which leaves Nalla badly injured, which subsequently leads him to be paralyzed. Bala is told by her father that Nalla is dead, while Nalla suffers from inferiority complex on his new, paralyzed look and starts wondering about doing social work and still fighting for union causes. Nalla is also shown as a communist believer.

The film returns to present times, as Aras and Nalla board the train for which they have been waiting, but as the train arrives, they get into an argument about communism, Karl Marx, and so on. Nalla accuses Aras as an agent for Western and rich manipulation, while Aras defends himself and criticises communism as a whole, referring that the Soviet Union doesn't exist anymore. Nalla argues that the idea of communism wouldn't die. The argument turns heated and sensitive, causing a short-tempered Aras to punch Nalla. After initially looking calm, Nalla punches Aras back even harder, causing Aras to bleed. As a result, Aras deceives Nalla into buying water for him and locks the train door, leaving Nalla stranded. On the train, Aras meets a good-looking corporate individual who shares the same interests as Aras (Yugi Sethu), who asks Aras to throw away a pack of biscuits Nalla gave to Aras and instead take his own whisky offering. As Aras wakes up the next day, he realizes that he has been conned again and the corporate man is a thief, and has stolen all of Aras' belongings. The train comes to a halt because a train which travelled on the track before had an accident and it has to be cleared up first. There, Aras witnesses a slew of dead bodies and suffering people, causing him to suffer emotionally. To his surprise, he meets Nalla again at the treatment camp nearby. He apologizes to Nalla, who forgives him. Nalla proposes that he donate blood to a dying boy in need of AB- blood, while Aras mentions that he is bloodsick. Nalla manages to convince him finally, and Aras donates. Aras also retrieves his belongings as he finds that the thief is also around the camp. Nalla proposes that Aras travels with him in an ambulance which will be carrying the injured boy on its way to Chennai.

While on the journey, the boy passes away, finally causing Aras to cry as he calls God 'unjust' for giving the boy hope in the form of Aras' blood, and then take away his live. Nalla, who doesn't believe in God externally, tells Aras, that Aras himself is God, that his tears after the boy dies is the nature of God itself. Aras also comes to terms with using his full name Anbarasu (derived from the full Tamil name Anbarasan - literally 'King Of Love'), a name he previously despised under the reason that he doesn't like 'anbu' (love). Both of them go their separate ways in Chennai, but Aras realizes that Nalla's union cheque is with him and returns to the address Nalla had given him.

He realizes that Nalla had lied to him previously when he told that he has a wife and son named 'Sangu'. The address is a place where injured labourers from Orissa camp while waiting for their legal funds (the money fought for them by Nalla). 'Sangu' is the name of Nalla's dog. After giving the cheque, he goes to the nearby shop to meet Nalla, and scolds him for not telling the truth. He asks Nalla to come with him for his marriage, but Nalla says he will 'come later'. In an emotional moment, Aras recounts the story of how his brother died from a freak accident when he was young (a story he already told to Nalla before). He says that Nalla is his new-found brother and should stay with him as long as life permits. A clearly emotional Nalla immediately accepts the invitation.

However, at the marriage, Nalla realizes that the girl Aras is about to marry is Bala. He takes this opportunity to appear in front of Kandasamy and threaten that he will stay on and make Bala realize what a cheat her father is unless Kandasamy signs all related documents for pay increment and bonuses for his company's labourers. Sacrificing himself for the workers, Nalla leaves after Kandasamy signs, leaving behind a letter for his 'brother' that he has missions to complete in this world, and that he'd rather travel as a free bird than to be caged and tied at one particular place. He thanks Aras for the love shown. Kandasamy meanwhile orders his assistant (Santhana Bharathi) to kill Nalla. As Nalla walks away, the assistant approaches and Nalla, telling that he cant fight like he used to do, is ready to accept death. However, the assistant drops his weapon, weeps, and apologizes to Nalla. He tells Nalla that because he did all the dirty work for his boss, the God has punished him by taking away his beloved daughter from him. He tells Nalla that he has done enough sins, and doesn't want to bear any more sins on behalf of his boss. He asks Nalla to leave and that God will protect Nalla. Nalla refutes, saying that the assistant himself is God. He says that there is no greater God than to be able to apologize and change an original intent of killing.

The film ends with Nalla walking away with his dog, Sangu.

About Film:

Anbe Aaruyire (2005) is a Tamil film directed by S.J. Suryah. The film stars himself, Nila, Urvasi, Santhana Bharathy and Santhanam. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by A. R. Rahman. The movie was met with controversy even before release due to its original name of "B.F.", which according to the director stood for "Best Friend", but is also a common acronym for "Blue Film" in India. A contest was subsequently held in which members of the public were invited to suggest names.
Siva (S.J. Suryah) is an investigative scribe who shares a live-in relationship with rich and bratty Madhu (Nila). They have hot-headed run-ins and even hotter patch-ups.

Things come to a head when Madhu starts a restaurant with a brother of her friend. Nosey and envious Siva can't take it, and this causes a split between the duo. Fun starts as the fantasy element appears in the form of their apparitional alter egos. Eventually they come together, but there is plenty of over-the-top entertainment aimed at a post-teen youth audience.

This film features the memories of each other in a human look alike appearances. These memories remind them of their good times and the inner love for each other which, help in their reunion.

About Film:
Aalwar (2007) (Tamil: ஆழ்வார்) is a Tamil film directed by Chella. The film stars Ajith Kumar and Asin Thottumkal in the lead roles. This will be the second project that the pair will be in after the blockbuster Varalaru directed by K.S. Ravikumar. The film was released for Pongal in January 2007. Shooting had taken place in India and Europe. The film's score and soundtrack by Srikanth Deva was released on 15 December 2006.

The story is the metamorphosis of a simple, straight as rod, Aalwar into an avenging machine named Shiva. Why does Aalwar end up as Shiva? Well, Aalwar is a traditional priest. He is devoted to his mother and sister. But the villainous elements Lal, Vincent Asokan, kill the sister and mother. Aalwar, with revenge ringing in his mind, ends up as Shiva the killer, even while working as a ward boy in a hospital. Shiva is out to make a statement against the venal forces. He sees himself as some kind of avatar — in fact, he bumps off the baddies under the get-up's of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna. In climax, Shiva turns up as Lord Narasimha and bumps off the last villain by placing him on his thighs and ripping apart his bowels and chest with his sharp claws. Woven into this simple masala story is the love angle with Asin. Then there is also the comedy of Vivek, nicely done by him after a break.

About Film:
Alibaba (English: Ali Baba) is a 2008 Tamil feature film produced by Pattiyal Sekhar, Krishna Sekhar's father and directed by Radha Mohan. The movie, which has a critically acclaimed storyline, stars Prakash Raj in the prime role with Politics Vidyasagar scored the music for the film while VT Vijayan is handling the editing. The film was launched with no sound and end with no sound..

A lot of hype surrounded 'Alibaba' since it is the maiden venture of Krishna, brother of director vishnuvarathan, as hero. The young lad has lived up to all expectations coming up with a neat portrayal managing to leave a mark as an action hero.'Alibaba' has an interesting story with sudden twists and turns. However the director seems to have beaten around the bush especially towards the climax. All credit to the director for choosing to do an action-film in Kollywood sans the regular commercial clichés. It is the story of a youth, who gets into tough situations for no fault of his. How he bails himself out of a crunch situation forms the climax. The movie begins with the city being shaken by many heart stopping crimes taking place at different places. Young women are being molested and killed with alarming frequency. Velu helps his father Subramaniam in stealing. Being seasoned thieves, they rob everything right from pins to cars. A spate of young women are murdered and these developments rock the city. A tough cop investigates the case. However differences of opinions crop between the Police Commissioner and the policeman over the enquiry. One day Velu saves the Commissioner from a meeting, inorder to steal Commisionner Car's Audio Player his end and gets acquainted with him. Velu then begins to fall for a girl named Janani who works in a bank. One day when Velu withdraws money he is shocked to find the balance amount to be Rs. Five Lakhs. It suddenly swells to Rs 30 lakh and reaches Rs 70 lakh. That’s when Prakash Raj realizes that this is no mere coincidence. Someone was smartly using them as a pawn to cover up for other more serious activities. They were being used as the 'third man', a pretty common term in criminal parlance. Before they realize, all of them are caught in the web that was laid out. Who laid it out, how and why and do they eventually come out of it forms Alibaba. Velu's father comes to his rescue and manages to find the reason behind it. When the family begins to find out the reason behind this act, it results in bloodshed and gore eventually ending up in Velu coming across the killers of young women in the city. One does not get any clue about the mastermind He has come up with a honest, hard working performance doing well in stunt and dance sequences, showing that he has what it takes to be a hero.Had the second half been made in a more interesting fashion the director could have managed to sustain momentum until the end and ended up hitting the bull's eye. There will be serious confusion between the audience based on the Black Cat of the Plot...between Inspector, Commissioner BIJU MENON,Minister RADHA RAVI....Atlast The Twist reveals tat an AGORE is dangered for all sequences

ABOUT FILM:

Abhiyum Naanum (English: Abhi and Me) is a 2008 Tamil feature film produced by Prakash Raj and directed by Radha Mohan. The movie, which has a critically acclaimed storyline, stars Trisha Krishnan in the prime role with Prakash Raj playing a pivotal role as her father while Prithviraj Sukumaran makes a special appearance. Vidyasagar scored the music for the film whilst M. Kasivishwanathan is handling the editing. The film was launched in October 2007 and released on December 19, 2008.[1] The film was released as Akasamantha in Telugu in March 2009, with Jagapathi Babu taking over from Prithviraj, being the only change.

During a walk to the park Raghuraman (Prakash Raj) meets Sudhakar (Prithviraj Sukumaran) and tells him about his many experiences with his daughter Abhi (Trisha Krishnan). Raghuram is the loving husband of Anu (Aishwarya) and the worrisome as well as caring father of his only daughter Abhi. Together they all live a calm and content life in Ooty/Munnar. Raghuram and Abhi become best friends. Over the years as Abhi grows up, Raghuraman has the joy of being a part of her everyday life. When Abhi gets accepted in a prestigious college in New Delhi, Raghuram is shocked. Although the thought of being separated from his daughter for two whole years is heartbreaking to him, Raghuram wearily accepts. As soon as Abhi returns from college, she tells her parents that she has fallen in love with a young man in Delhi. Her mother Anu is perfectly alright with the idea, but Raghuram is angry and scared. Anu later informs Raghuram that their future son-in-law will be arriving by plane and staying with them for a while. As soon as Raghuraman meets his future son-in-law, Joginder Singh (Ganesh Venkatraman) he is taken aback, because Joginder is a Sardarji! After many conflicts with Abhi and Anu, Raghuram finally realizes that Joginder is quite talented and self-sacrificing, more so when on one occasion the Prime Minister calls him for advice. Abhi and Joginder get married and leave for Delhi. Anu and Abhi get teary-eyed, but Raghuram stays calm. This is very surprising, because he was the man that had once cried on his daughter's first day to school. Raghuram tells Sudhakar that he still stays in touch with his daughter and often gets to see her. Sudhakar understands how Raghuram feels, because he has a baby daughter himself. The movie ends with a phone call from Abhi.

Prakash Raj portrays the life journey of a father very effectively.

ABOUT FILM:
Ananda Tandavam (Anandha Thandavam) is a 2009 Tamil film adaptation of the Sujatha Rangarajan serialized novel Pirivom Santhippom, directed by A.R. Gandhi Krishna and produced by Oscar V. Ravichandran of Aascar Films.

STORY:
This is one of the most popular love stories by the late author Sujatha. The characters Raghu(Siddarth Venugopal) & Madhumitha(Tamanna Bhatia): their love story captured so many hearts that writer Sujatha, who had initially finished the first novel, started the second part due to high demand from readers.

It deals with the life of Raghu, whose mother dies in childbirth, he grows with plenty of affection from his father and grows into a quiet, sensible and a bit of a serious person. He is frustrated because he is unemployed, when he meets Madhumitha(Tamanna Bhatia); a naive character, she plays childish pranks and brings energy into his life.

Her parents also bring joy in Raghu's life as they accept who Raghu is and eventually, Raghu finds employment. Everything seems to go well when trouble comes in the form of Radha Krishnan. He is a spoilt NRI boy and worst of all, Madhu(Tamanna Bhatia) agrees with her parents opinion and marries Radha. They both leave for the US while Raghu attempts to commit suicide. He escapes it narrowly and with further encouragement from his father and friends, leaves for US to study.

He meets Ratna(Rukmini Vijayakumar) and love slowly begins to blossom between them. One time, Raghu faces his ex-lover Madhumitha(Tamanna Bhatia) and discovers that her husband is a traitor to her and that she is unaware of it.
