How the corrupt brothers reform is rest of the story.

We first see Dharmadorai (Rajinikanth) as a loner, rescuing a young couple Balu and Ishwarya from a fight. Her father and her uncle Ramadorai (Nizhalgal Ravi) show up, only to beat a hasty retreat when they realize who Ishwarya is with. Dharmadorai's wife (Gouthami) then tells the eloped couple their story that Dharmadorai had showered love and affection on his brothers and had given them money against the wishes of his father (Madhu). But they got involved in illegal activities and become rich by double-crossing their boss. Dharmadorai takes the blame when his brothers kill one of the villains. When he is in jail, his son dies in a road accident. Upon release from jail, Dharmadorai finds his father and son dead, and his wife working as a housemaid. In the present day, when the villains capture Rajadorai and Ramadorai, their wives request Dharmadorai to rescue them.

Once located, the girl (Jaya Re) tells the boy (Prashanth) that she would like to try a trial-romance for a week. And if it clicks, they can make a commitment for the long term. Elsewhere, you have Assistant Commissioner of Police Livingstone (who happens to be Prashanth's best buddy) and Suhasini. Married, but apart, yet not legally divorced. Livingstone wants his wife back, she isn't having any of it. And, surprise, surprise, no surprise -- Jaya Re happens to be their daughter. Albeit staying in a hostel because, if you please, she has vowed not to acknowledge them as her parents unless and until they get back together. The hero, of course, is blissfully unaware of all this. Meanwhile, Livingstone is busy telephoning his daughter to try and convince her to give up this trial romance business and go for broke because the guy is pure, 24 carat gold. The daughter dutifully accepts papa's recommendation. Meanwhile again, a London-based boy offers for Livingstone's daughter. And Prashanth vows he will get Suhasini to agree -- little knowing that the girl in question is his own lady love.

Abou Film: Chennai 600028 is an Indian Tamil feature film written and directed newcomer by Venkat Prabhu, starring Shiva, Premji Amaran, Aravind Akash, Jai, Nithin Sathya and newcomers Ranjith, Vijay Vasanth, Prasanna, Karthik and Arun in lead roles along with Vijayalakshmi and Kristine Zedek, the female lead artistes. The film's score and soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film, based on street cricket played in India and made on a shoestring budget, went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. Upon release, the film was dubbed into Telugu and released as Kodithe Kottalira.

Story: The movie is about two small local cricket league teams that compete against each other in local matches and consider each other as sworn enemies. Royapuram Rockers are on top of the chain and keep bashing Sharks year after year. The heroes of the movie are the Sharks team. This movie has cricket as the central theme.

The story begins when Raghu's parents move from Royapuram to Visalakshi Thottam, Chennai 600 028. Raghu,(member of the Royapuram Rockers Cricket team) and a college student living with his parents has no choice but to move with them although he detests the choice. He is not very excited at the prospect of living in the same area as his sworn enemies. Raghu is faithful to his old team Rockers but his team mates ignore him because of the distance. Angered at being replaced by a new guy in the team in one of the matches, Raghu estranges himself from cricket and Rockers.

Raghu informs of Pazhani's sister Selvi's love for Karthick to him. This incident initiates the Raghu's friendship with a few Sharks team players and eventually gets induced into the team. Raghu practices with Sharks to play against Rockers in the upcoming Radio Mirchi trophy. Pazhani, who soon comes to know of his sister's and Karthick's love affair is disappointed and then there is a tiff amongst the friends. The team splits up for a while. But Karthick apologises to Pazhani and they make up. The team is united again and they start practicing for the trophy once again. Unfortunately, Karthick gets stabbed by his brother's enemies and is rendered unfit to play the match. Pazhani replaces Karthick as the captain and the team heads for the match.

Under tight pressure and with a nail biting finish Sharks finally defeat Rockers in the semi-finals of the tournament. Every bit of the cricket tournament portrayed here is done so in a very light and entertaining manner. It is far from boring.

In the finals they meet their nemesis, a bunch of school kids named Bad Boys-II who practice by bunking school to play cricket on the beach. The kids are really good and the Sharks know it because they have lost to them once before and that too very badly...the movie ends with the team really struggling to keep it up in the game.

All loose ends are tied up and the end is also funny and has a positive note. Badawa Gopi is the commentater.

Vishwa (Bharath), the motherless adolescent and neighbour in Mythili's Chennai home, whom Mythili has a special attachment for, follows her to Goa. Raghu and Mythili fail to realise the imminent danger near them. Vishwa works out a devious plan to whisk away Mythili to Chennai and keep her in his dad's holiday home on the city's outskirts. The case of the missing wife is solved after a series of interesting incidents.

The only irksome aspect is when Raghu appears to believe the old woman near their house, who crudely states that Mythili had eloped with Vishwa. Thankfully he comes to his senses very soon and realises that his wife could be in danger.

About Film: Chandramukhi (Tamil: சந்திரமுகி; Telugu: చంద్రముఖి; Hindi: चंद्रमुखी) is a 2005 Indian horror, comedy and drama film directed by P. Vasu and produced by Ramkumar Ganesan. With a few deviations, it is a remake of the Malayalam film, Manichitrathazhu. The soundtrack and background score for the film, which later became successful enough to be released as a separate album, was written by Vidyasagar. The film was distributed by Sivaji Productions.

The film starred Rajinikanth in the lead role, making Chandramukhi his "come back" film after the controversy regarding his previous film Baba. Prabhu Ganesan, Jyothika Saravanan and Nayantara were also given lead roles. Vadivelu, Nassar, K. R. Vijaya, Vijayakumar, Vinaya Prasad, Sonu Sood, Vineeth and Malavika were given supporting roles. It was released on April 14, 2005, coinciding with Tamil New Year, to become the largest opening in Tamil cinema at the time.

Following its original release, Chandramukhi was successful enough to be released in several other languages. It was subsequently dubbed into Telugu and released on April 14, 2005 with the same title. Later on, it became the first ever Tamil film to be dubbed into German and it was released in several German-speaking countries as Der Geisterjäger (lit. The Ghost Hunters). On February 29, 2008, producer M. Rathnam dubbed and released the film in Hindi, despite Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the Bollywood remake of Manichithrathazhu directed by Priyadarshan, which already released on October 12, 2007.

Since release, Chandramukhi has become the highest grossing Tamil language film ever beating the previous record set by Rajinikanth's previous film, Padayappa. As of June 25, 2007, it became the longest ever running South Indian film, and still holds this record, completing 800 days at Shanthi Theatres in Chennai, passing the record of the 1935-devotional film, Haridas.

Story: The movie opens with Saravanan (Rajinikanth), an Indian-American psychiatrist coming to India on vacation. He meets up with his friend and foster brother, Senthilnathan (Prabhu Ganesan), and his wife, Ganga (Jyothika Saravanan). Senthil and Saravanan's mother Kasturi (K. R. Vijaya) wanted Senthil to marry his parental aunt's eldest granddaughter Priya (Malavika) to reunite the two families after 30 years of separation. They separated because their father was supposed to marry his intimidating older cousin, Akhilandeshwari (Sheela), who is the bachelorette family head of her late parents' family, and Priya's paternal aunt and foster mother. However he marries Kasturi. Saravanan learns that they have bought the Vettayapuram Palace, despite a fear of the place and attempts by the elders to dissuade them. Saravanan moves in with them. Akhilandeswary is jealous of Saravanan and with her assistant, (Sonu Sood) she tries to destroy Saravanan.

When they go to a temple, a priest reveals why everyone is frightened. When King Vettayan lived in the palace, he took a trip to Andhra Pradesh and met the dancer Chandramukhi, instantly falling in love with her beauty. However, she would not return his love because her heart was already set on the dancer Gunasekaran. Vettayan kidnapped her and brought her back to his palace. Chandramukhi, without letting the king know, had Gunasekaran stay in a nearby house. When the king found out, he killed Gunasekaran on Durgashtami and burned Chandramukhi alive. Chandramukhi's spirit continued to remain in the palace so as to take revenge on the king. Legend had it that her soul was locked up in the southern room along with a king cobra. Shortly afterward, Saravanan helps Priya with her love affair with their neighbour, dance professor Viswanathan (Vineeth), and persuades her parents and aunt to speak with him to arrange their marriage.

When Ganga learns of Chandramukhi's story, she wants to go to Chandramukhi's room because she thinks that this story was made up to scare thieves from stealing costly treasures which she believes is in Chandramukhi's room. She gets the key and opens the door. Subsequently, strange things begin happening in the household: a ghost is scaring the people in the house, things are inexplicably breaking, and Ganga's sari catches on fire. Suspicion turns towards Durga (Nayantara), the gardener's granddaughter. Senthil calls Saravanan for help with the mysterious events. The night Saravanan returned , a mysterious being made an attempt to kill Priya. As someone tries to kill Senthil, once with poison, and another time by pushing a fish tank a mysterious voice sings in the middle of the night, and Saravanan tries to figure out what's happening. The night of Priya and Viswanathan's wedding reception, Ganga mysteriously disappears from the canopy. When Saravanan notices he goes to look for her. But he ends up almost getting killed by the goon sent by Akhilandeshwari for arranging her niece's marriage. He knocks the goon out, and with Senthil's help, they find Ganga, supposedly being sexually harassed by Viswanathan. Saravanan then informs Senthil and Viswanathan that Ganga has split personality of Ganga and Chandramukhi. The reason she tried to kill Priya and Senthil, and frame Viswanathan for sexual harassment was because in Chandramukhi's eyes, Viswanathan is her lover Gunasekaran, who looks just like him. The only way to stop it is to make her believe Saravanan is dead. This is because Chandramukhi was killed by King Vettayan, who looked just like him. Then Saravan says that he will act as the king and let Chandramukhi kill him and get out of Ganga's body, with the help of world-renown exorcist Ramachandra Acharya. The reason he will sacrifice his life is because he looks just like the king and he went up to Chandramukhi's room and she saw him. Akhilandeswary hears his idea, realising that she was wrong to try to destroy Saravanan and begs him for forgiveness. Later, in the dance hall, the family and Ramachandra Acharya did what Saravanan asked them to do. They let Chandramukhi pour oil on him so she can burn him alive and when she lights the match, Ramachandra Acharya blows the smoke and ash in her face. Then Senthil opens a trapdoor to let Saravanan fall down and a cardboard figure of him gets burnt. Chandramukhi thinks that the king is dead and leaves Ganga's body. Ganga is cured. After 30 years of separation, the two families are reunited. Saravanan and Durga have a love affair. And finally, Sorna and Murugesh (Vadivelu) are parents after 8 years of marriage.

ABout Film:Bombay (1995) is an award-winning Tamil feature film drama directed by Mani Ratnam, starring Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala, with music composed by A. R. Rahman. The film met with a strong reception upon release.

The film is centred on events, particularly during the period of December 1992 to January 1993 in India, and the controversy surrounding the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. Increased religious tensions in the city of Bombay (now Mumbai) led to the Bombay Riots. Shekhar (Arvind Swamy) is the son of traditional Hindu parents. He is studying journalism in Bombay and returns to his village where he comes across Shaila Bano, (Manisha Koirala), a Muslim schoolgirl. The story revolves around their relationship in the midst of religious tension.

Eventually becoming one of the highest grossing films of the Chennai film industry, the film caused considerable controversy upon release in India and abroad for its depiction of inter-religious relations. Well received critically and commercially, it was screened at many international film festivals including the Philadelphia Film Festival in 1996 where it was an audience favourite.

The film was banned in Singapore, and Malaysia upon release.

In July 2005, a book on the film by Lalitha Gopalan was published by BFI Modern Classics, looking at the film's production, the several issues it covered, and its impact upon release in India and abroad. It was subsequently dubbed in Hindi and Telugu.

Story:Shekhar (Arvind Swamy) is the son of a traditional Hindu father in a seaside village in Tamil Nadu. A journalism student studying in Bombay, Shekhar visits back home to see his family. On one of his return trips, he lays eyes on Shaila Bano (Manisha Koirala), a Muslim girl in the village. Initially shy, Shaila seeks to distance herself from Shekhar, but after frequent run-ins, and days of pursuit, Shaila begins to like Shekhar. Eventually, they both fall in love.

A marriage proposal is vehemently opposed by the lovers' fathers. Shekar's father refuses to accept Shaila as his daughter-in-law, telling Shekhar to find another partner, whilst Shaila's father announces the need for an immediate marriage between his daughter and a Muslim man. Shekhar's father says if the two ever get married, he will cease talking to his son. Shekhar reacts angrily to his father's refusal to accept Shaila, and so leaves, back to Bombay. Shaila, under increasing pressure from her father, escapes from the village and joins Shekhar. At first, Shaila is overwhelmed by the city, having relocated for the first time from rural surroundings to a city life. However, with time she adapts to her new lifestyle. The two get married. The newlyweds move into a new apartment.

A few months later, Shaila becomes pregnant and gives birth to twins, Kabir Narayan and Kamal Basheer. The twins are raised in both religions. Shekar continues to work as a journalist, whilst Shaila works at home, looking after the children. For six years, the family live in Bombay, settling in well, and begin the process of repairing relations with their respective families. The relatives visit the family in the city for the first time in over half a decade, and are overjoyed to see their two grandchildren.

Meanwhile, in India, religious extremism launches each community against the other, causing a wave of Hindu/Muslim riots that leave hundreds dead in Bombay. Targets of violence from both sides, Shaila and Shekhar worry increasingly over the safety of their children, who do not have a fixed religion. They are constantly under threat. The growing tension threatens to bring tragedy to the family and during this tensed situation, they lose their children in the city and the parents of Shekhar and Shaila get burnt in their house.

Shekhar and Shaila eventually get their children back, and also puts an end to the riot.

Story:
The story begins with a sadistic underworld don David Billa (Ajith Kumar), on Interpol’s criminal list, hiding and operating out of Malaysia.

DSP Jayprakash (Prabhu Ganesan) has spent the last few years looking for Billa, leaving behind a life in India.

During a chase with the police Billa is severely wounded after an accident and dies in front of the DSP. The DSP then secretly holds a burying of Billa. Interpol Officer Gokulnath (Rahman) is assigned to work with DSP Jayaprakash to capture elusive Billa as no-one knows of Billa's death. DSP Jayaprakash keeps the death of Billa as a secret even from his fellow officers, and tracks down a look-alike called Saravana Velu (Ajith Kumar), a lowly pick-pocket . He asks Velu to infiltrate Billa's gang by pretending to be Billa. In return he will make sure that the child Velu adopted, Karan gets a proper education.

The DSP trains Velu and sends him back to Billa's gang as a person who has lost his memory. Slowly Velu starts to learn about Billa's Gang and even speaks to Jagdish on the phone. Velu provides a pen drive with the secret information of the crime network to the DSP, but he is about to be killed by Sasha. At this juncture, DSP arrive and tell her that he is Velu and not Billa. Later Velu secretly provides information to the DSP about a meeting of Billa's Network and C.J overhears his conversation. He accidentally kills C.J. A shootout occurs at the party and the DSP is secretly killed by Jagdish, leaving his gun behind. Velu finds the DSP's body and the gun, but is taken into the custody of the police team, now headed by Interpol Officer Gokulnath. He argues during interrogation that he is Velu and not Billa to Gokulnath. Velu mentions a piece of evidence - the pen drive which may prove his innocence but the pen drive is no where to be found.

Unable to prove is innocence, he escapes from a police van. He phones Gokulnath and ask him to meet at the Aero bridge. Here it is revealed that Gokulnath is none other than the Underworld Crime Don Jagdish and he is the one who killed Jayprakash. Velu meets Ranjith and gives him a second pen drive with the same data, but corrupted, but when Ranjith tries to kill Velu, a scuffle ensues making Ranjith fall from the top. In a final confrontation, Jagdish fights with Velu. Jagdish posing as Gokulnath asks the police to arrest Velu as Billa but gets shot by the squad of police and dies as the police have wired the entire conversation between Jagdish and Velu, thus proving his innocence. About Film:
Bheema (Tamil: பீமா) is a Tamil film directed by N. Linguswamy. It stars Vikram, Trisha Krishnan and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. The film's score and soundtrack was composed by Harris Jayaraj with lyrics written by the contemporary Tamil poets Na. Muthukumar, Pa. Vijay and Vairamuthu. R.D. Rajasekhar was the cinematographer for the movie and the editing was done by Anthony. Shooting for the film began on the 24th of April, 2006 at various locations in India. The film was slated for a Pongal/Sankranthi 2007 release, but it was pushed back to May 11, 2007 due to technical difficulties. Then it was postponed further due to the nearing release of Sivaji: The Boss. The film's soundtrack was released on July 10, 2007 and the film itself was released on 15 January 2008, to coincide with Pongal, with 300 prints. The movie had earlier been postponed to "Summer 2007",even though the film was previously said to have been completed.

Story:
The story pivots on a tug of war between two underworld gangs trying to outsmart each other. Periyavar’s (Raghuvaran) group is bigger and more powerful, while Chinna’s (Prakash Raj) group is struggling to gain strength.

Enter Shekar (Vikram). This powerful man adds new life to Chinna’s gang. He challenges Periyavar’s group and puts Chinna on top. Shekar has grown up idolising Chinna and he is a man of steel, physically and mentally, according to the movie. As Chinna says, he bears everyone on his powerful shoulders like the character Bheema from the Mahabharata.

The gangs are targeted by the new police commissioner (Ashish Vidyarthi) and a three-pronged hunt begins. Later on Sekar leaves to settle with his girlfriend(Trisha), however Chinna's gang members want him back, even though Chinna wants Sekar to lead his own life. The unexpected bold climax shows the misunderstanding between Sekar and Chinna and in that process Chinna's gang kill Trisha, Sekar kills Chinna and the police kill Sekar.

About Film:
A Aa E Ee is a 2009 Indian Tamil film that stars Navdeep and Monica in the lead roles, whilst, supporting actors Aravind Akash, Prabhu Ganesan and Saranya Mohan play other prominent roles. Directed by Sabapathy, and produced by the oldest Tamil film production company, AVM Productions, the film released on 9th January 2009 The movie is a remake of Telugu hit Chandamama (film) with Navdeep enacting the same role.

Subramaniam, (Prabhu) an Ayurvedic physician is a much respected man in his village. His only daughter Anita (Monica) returns home from Chennai after completing a course in fashion designing. Having lost her mother at a very young age, Anita is close to her father and they share a special bond. Soon Anita’s marriage is fixed with Ilango (Arvind), son of Vedachalam, (Haneefa).

While Vedachalam is a good for nothing, his son is a perfect match. Illango falls in love with Anita. But Anita tells him of her past, about her lover Akash, (Navdeep) who had jilted her after a one night stand. Illango, though shattered meets Akash and tries to unite him with Anita.

And in this attempt, he finds himself falling in love with Anita’s cousin, Eshwari (Saranya Mohan). Now the story is about uniting the two pairs of lovers. And Anita does not want to hurt her father with the knowledge of her past.

Set in a rustic background, the film entertains with its moments of comedy, slapstick albeit. And it talks about a young daughter who is willing to sacrifice her love so that her father is not disappointed, a trait not that often seen in today’s films.

Prabhu as the father is good. Manorama as Illango’s grandmother is at her usual best. Haneefa in his colourful outfits keeps the audience chuckling with his dialogues. While Arvind and Monica are adequate, it is Saranya Mohan who impresses with her acting. Navdeep makes a mark too.

The songs are good. Good camera work with stunning visuals showing nature at her best.

There are moments when the film sags, but if you have a penchant for clean family drama, this one could be straight up your alley.

The movie goes on to show how the lovers manage to get the permission of their parents. In the meantime, a different dimension in the tale is revealed while the romantic drama is unfolding. Vijay visualizes some bizarre scenes inside his mind. The scenes are disturbing; and worse, they become true in real life.

A psychiatrist (Dr. Rudran) confirms that it is Extra Sensory Perception power and says that the imageries visualized by Guru would actually happen sooner or later. Unfortunately Guru visualizes another scene where he stabs Abi in the stomach. Sensing that he poses a danger to his sweetheart, he runs away from her to Mumbai.

In Mumbai he stumbles upon a person who looks like himself. This gives him a different meaning of the horrible incident visualized by him. Before catching the man,Prasad (Joseph Vijay), Guru gets himself into an accident. In the meantime, the new man moves to Chennai.

Stylish and carefree Prasad, the Guru look-alike, is a greedy person who does anything for money. He is a womaniser and enjoys life. He meets Dhanalakshmi (Namitha) during his travel to Chennai and has sex with her and escapes from her. Abinaya mistakes him for Guru and brings him to her house. Sensing his opportunity, Prasad decides toact as Guru and intends to marry the rich Abhi.

The real Guru comes back and tells everyone the truth. But no one is ready to believe him, as he is outplayed by the wicked Prasad at each and every move. Finally the truth prevails, but not before a tense battle between the two. During the battle, when Guru tries to kill Prasad, he accidentally stabs Abhi. Guru tries to take Abhi to the hospital but Prasad knocks him out and changes into Guru's clothes so he will look like Guru in front of Abhi. Abhi recovers at the hospital and thinks Prasad is Guru again. At the hospital she tells him how much she hates Prasad and how much she loves Guru. When Prasad hears this he feels guilty for what he did and tells her he is not Guru. Guru suddenly comes into the room, and Prasad leaves as a reformed man.

As Prasad walks away from the hospital, Dhanalakshmi appears saying she is pregnant and its twins. Prasad and Dhanalakshmi join together.

Satya's girlfriend (Samiksha) is accidentally wounded in a shootout between Adhi's gang and his rivals. Satya, on the prodding of ACP Thiagarajan (Adithya) is all set to identify Kutty as the culprit.

About Film:
Anniyan is a Tamil psychological thriller directed by S. Shankar. Dubbed into Hindi as Aparichit, Telugu as Aparichithudu and French, it was a super hit film in Tamil Nadu and a blockbuster in Andhra Pradesh. The film was produced by Oscar V. Ravichandran and distributed in India by Aascar Films. It was released in France by Columbia TriStar Pictures.

The movie stars the actors Vikram, Prakash Raj, Sadha, and Vivek. The score and soundtrack, composed by Harris Jayaraj, was released on 27 April, 2005. The motion picture took over two years to complete, from 2003 to 2005. The film was the most expensive Tamil feature film made of the year costing nearly $6 million. Such a huge outlay reduced its status from blockbuster to superhit in the trade ledgers.

Anniyan is the story of "Rules" Ramanujam Iyengar, known as "Ambi" (Vikram), a lawyer who suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder. Ambi is an innocent and honest lawyer. If he comes across anyone not obeying the rules he files cases against them but all his efforts go in vain.

His constant habit to be perfect in rules and honesty leads him to develop a Multiple Personality Disorder in which a new character in him grows as Anniyan, a grim reaper, (Vikram) and starts a website called www.anniyan.com to hear people's complaints. The new character, Anniyan, is a violent man. When he is Ambi and comes across a person who does not obey rules he makes complaints in his website. When he is Anniyan, he goes and kills them by methods used for torturing people in hell. He apparently takes the definition of these methods from the Garuda Puranam.

During the first half, Anniyan kills 3 different people due to their actions:

* A man who did not stop to save a person in critical condition. Anniyan forces a herd of buffaloes to stampede him to death. He calls this murder "Anthakoopam", a Sanskrit word and one of the punishments in the Garuda Puranam.
* A chef who fails to provide decent food for railway passengers. Anniyan tosses him into a pot and fries him to death. This punishment is called "Kumbhipakam". The chef was the brother of DGP Prabhakar (Prakash Raj) and the death caused Prabhakar to rise with anger, promising to kill his brother's murderer when he is found.
* A factory owner who makes faulty motor parts. He sends a group of thugs to kill Ambi, but this triggers Anniyan, who knocks out all the men. Later, Anniyan ties the owner to a tree and dumps leeches onto his body. This punishment is called "Krimiibhojanam"

Meanwhile, DGP Prabhakar and Chari (Vivek), a friend of Ambi, are after this mystery murderer.

Ambi is in love with his neighbour Nandhini (Sadha), a music teacher. After she rejects him, Ambi develops another personality, a ramp walk model named Remo. Nandhini instantly falls for Remo and his tricks.

Later, Nandhini acquires land, but tries to cheat the government out of taxes. Ambi chooses not to help her, but when Nandhini tells Remo, Anniyan takes over and goes after her. Just as Anniyan is about to toss her into a pit of fire, Anniyan reverts back to Ambi. He is admitted to a hospital where he is diagnosed with a multiple personality disorder. It is at this hospital that Ambi reveals a dark secret from his past when he is hypnotized. When he was a young boy, there was a lot of corruption and incompetence in the police force and elsewhere. There was a loose electric wire which fell into a rather deep puddle. Ambi's sister Vidya slipped out of a rick shaw and fell into that puddle with the unattended wire, in which she was electrocuted, and died. After listening to this story, the doctor (Nassar) concludes that the death of Ambi's sister resulted in the development of the psychological disorder. According to the doctor, Remo will cease to exist only if Nandhini accepts Ambi's love. However, Anniyan will cease to exist only when the country is reformed. Nandhini eventually accepts Ambi's love and Remo disappears.

As for Anniyan, the police catches him after an investigation. During an interrogation, DGP Prabhakar engages in a fight with Ambi/Anniyan, who constantly changes personalities between Ambi and Anniyan to the DGP's confusion. The fight is captured on the security camera and is used as evidence for Ambi's sentence. He is sentenced to two years of psychological treatment at which time if he is cured, he will be released. When he is released, he relapses when traveling in a train, after a man refuses to stop drinking in the presence of ladies. Apparently, the man is the same person who indirectly, became a cause for Ambi's sister's death due to his negligence of duty. He kills the man, hiding the crime from Nandhini as the credits start rolling, proving that instead of eradicating Anniyan from his brain, he has been able to successfully blend the personalities of Remo, Ambi, and Anniyan as one.

The film has comedies by Vivek regarding the anagrams of the Sanskrit words that denote the punishments. Even the titles shown in the beginning of the film slide with quicker animation of their anagrams. Another example is, during the intermission of the film, the word "TENSIONRISM" morphs into the word "INTERMISSION", which is its anagram.

This film, can be closely related to Shankar's previous feature, Indian. Both movies have similar names in pronunciation, and both movies involve the main character rooting out the corrupt elements of India, due to corruption causing the death of the main character's close family member. The main character also gains popularity amongst the public, and shows one of his murders on live TV.

About Film:
Anjali (Tamil: அஞ்சலி) is a 1990 Tamil-language Indian feature film directed by Mani Ratnam, starring Raghuvaran, Revathi, Tarun, Shruthi and Shamili. The film's score and soundtrack is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, being his 500th movie. Anjali is about a dying autistic child, and the emotional trauma experienced by her family. The film was dubbed into Telugu and released with the same name
The movie revolves around a family of four. The family consists of an young civil engineer father Shekar (Raghuvaran), the stay-at-home mother Chitra (Revathi) and two siblings, the elder brother Tarun (Tarun) and younger sister Shruti (Shruti) both around 11 years of age.

The movie opens with Chitra giving birth to her third child but unfortunately the girl is still-born. A few years later, Shekar and his family move to a new apartment complex filled with a lot of kids. The family seems to have moved on from the still-born child and live happily. After a few altercations with the kids in the colony, Tarun and Shruti are accepted by all the kids as their own. The parents too are accepted by the colony adults as respectable and everybody gets along well. The kids are for pulling pranks and generally causing a clamor around the apartment colony. One such constant joke they play on a mentally retarded ex-watchman (Janakaraj) of the colony, much to the chagrin of his wife. Tarun and Shruti join in too. The only tenant they are afraid of is an ex-convict (Prabhu) who lives alone in one of the apartments.

On new year’s eve, Tarun slips out late at night with the older children to celebrate the new year when Sekhar was out of town on a business trip. But he see’s Shekar with another women before he and the other children are hauled by the police back to their homes. Chitra is furious and when Shekar comes back, asks him to punish Tarun. Tarun, still angry thinking that his father is having an affair, blurts out that he saw Shekar on New Year’s Eve. But Shekar denies that he was in town and admonishes Tarun for lying. Shekar later makes up with Tarun and all go back to normal once again.

A few days later, Chitra to Surprise Shekar, goes to meet him in his construction site but Shekar is not there as he had to leave due to some emergency at home. But as Shekar has said that he was at work to Chitra, she grows suspicious. One day, while on the bus, she spots him talking with a woman. She gets out of the bus and confronts Shekar. But she is not satisfied with his reply that they are just friends talking. She comes home, packs her bags and threatens to walk out of the house. He pleads her to stay but she doesn’t stop. Finally, Shekar comes clean.

Their third child,Anjali (Sharmili), was born mentally ill and with a terminal illness a few years back. The doctors did not give the child more than a couple of months to live. To avoid the sadness for couple of months from an already physically exhausted Chitra and to protect his children from the trauma, he colludes with the doctors to lie to his family that the child was stillborn. But much to the surprise of everyone, the child has made it past thro’ her second birthday and is seemingly physically healthy. The woman Shekar was talking to is Anjali’s doctor. Although Chitra is saddened by this betrayal, she decides to bring Anjali back home.

Anjali is not like a normal child and requires constant attention from both the parents. This causes the other two siblings to dislike Anjali. Moreover, the other kids in the colony and school tease them by making fun of Anjali’s condition. One day, the other kids in the colony, make fun of Anjali by tying a string of cans behind her. This causes Tarun to fight with the other kids. He gets bruised which saddens Anjali but a special bond is born between the siblings. Tarun becomes protective of her and challenges the other kids in the colony to a fight if they can’t accept her. The kids accept anjali and all the kids come to love her.

This causes the parents of the kids to worry as they don’t want their kids to be close with a mentally retarded kid. During an apartment association meeting, the parents of the kids demand that Shekar and Chitra either leave the apartment or institutionalize Anjali. The only person to argue for Anjali’s presence is the ex-convict. The parents are afraid of him and let it go. But soon, Anjali wins over everyone in the apartment complex and everyone likes her.

Meanwhile Shekar has some problem with the quality of cement sold to him and much to the chagrin of the seller, reports him to police. The police finds that the seller adds water to the cement and arrests him. The seller becomes enraged and visits Shekar’s house after getting out on bail. He physically assaults and plans on killing Shekar. But the ex-convict comes to the rescue and kills the seller in the altercation when he threatens Shekar’s family and is arrested. The ex-convict thanks Shekar before leaving as Anjali was the only person to show compassion to him.

The next morning, Shruti wakes up and goes to wake up Anjali, but she doesn’t wake up. Anjali had died in her sleep. As more and more people come after hearing Shruti’s screams, they all are saddened by the demise of the girl who taught them to accept and forgive.
